Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bruno Linhares made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Bruno Linhares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sanganha AD's José Carlos Pombal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Sanganha AD's Rogério da Costa got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Clóvis de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Pombal having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Cocelinho SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sanganha AD:s goal. The goalkeeper, Zé Roberto Cordeiro, was totally fooled by Sanganha AD's Toninho Brasil, who 18 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Armando Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Zé Roberto Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Carlos Pombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Monteiros short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Zé Roberto Cordeiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 38 minutes into the match, Sanganha AD's goal looked a bit too open when Clóvis de Souza came free, but José Carlos Pombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cocelinho SC's Bruno Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Pombal having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Carlos Eduardo Novaes made the kick off in the second half. Christiano Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Carlos Pombal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sanganha AD's Rogério da Costa got a free kick in the 57th minute. A hard shot 60 in the game by Clóvis de Souza from a close distance when the talented José Carlos Pombal managed to make a qualified save. Sanganha AD's players were relieved. If Armando Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Carlos Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Linhares in the 69th minute of the match. Rogério da Costa hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Cocelinho SC's Bruno Linhares dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Carlos Eduardo Novaes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Roberto Cordeiro having to make a save. 83 minutes into the match, Bruno Linhares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of José Carlos Pombal, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Cocelinho SC's zone, Armando Monteiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Roberto Cordeiro came out of the goal and Armando Monteiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Eduardo Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Zé Roberto Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charles de Brito during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clóvis de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute of the match, Bruno Linhares tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but José Carlos Pombal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cocelinho SC were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Sanganha AD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicolas Catarinense took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Nicolas Catarinense got away a dangerous shot. Despite this José Carlos Pombal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Cocelinho SC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cocelinho SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
