Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the game, Cauã Abreu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itapuranga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arapixy the free kick. Cauã Abreu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Arapixy's Nilson de Almeida broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Luís Fábio Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Eusébio Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 played minutes Arapixy got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Souto. Itapuranga's Eusébio Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fábio Trancoso in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th minute Paulinho Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32ndth minute of the game Luís Fábio Trancoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itapuranga's Eusébio Peixoto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Augusto Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murillo Rodrigues in the 34th minute of play. Zé Paulo Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Beto Cearense came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Itapuranga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beto Cearense couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, Itapuranga's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Souto came free, but Eusébio Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beto Cearenses short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Augusto Sá to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luís Fábio Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Peixoto having to interfere.

In the 53rd minute Beto Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Itapuranga's Zé Paulo Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Cearense in the 61st minute of play forced Arapixy's goalkeeper Augusto Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusébio Peixoto came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Arapixy's Paulinho Souto. But to his dismay, Paulinho Souto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alberto Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Eusébio Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Trancoso in the 76th minute of play forced Itapuranga's goalkeeper Eusébio Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Zé Paulo Castro made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Sá. Arapixy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Beto Cearense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Paulo Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Augusto Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arapixy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
