Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Luís Eduardo Reis made the kick off and thus started the match. After 4 played minutes, Bandeirantes SC's César Trigo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adelino Cardozo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bandeirantes SC reached it. Patrício Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donatello Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Eduardo Reis in the 9th minute of the match. Donatello Zonta made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Claudinei Costa sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Severo in the 15th minute of play forced Traripe EC's goalkeeper Adelino Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Traripe EC's zone, Zacarias Severo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adelino Cardozo came out of the goal and Zacarias Severo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adelino Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Donatello Zonta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Zacarias Severo came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Bandeirantes SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarias Severo couldn't finish the play. Donatello Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Eduardo Reis in the 30th minute of the match. Charles Cardoso hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Bandeirantes SC defense, Claudinei Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donatello Zonta. The Bandeirantes SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donatello Zonta should have stopped the shot. In the 45thth minute of the game Luís Eduardo Reis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bandeirantes SC's Donatello Zonta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zacarias Severo to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Traripe EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Leal to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes Bandeirantes SC got a freekick which was hit by Patrício Brito. In the 58th minute Zacarias Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zacarias Severo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adelino Cardozo was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 69th minute, Luís Eduardo Reis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Traripe EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Claudinei Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Zacarias Severo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Adelino Cardozo, passed just outside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Eduardo Reis in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donatello Zonta saved Bandeirantes SC from getting behind. When Ivo Santos came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Traripe EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo Santos couldn't finish the play. Charles Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Bandeirantes SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
