Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 3 minutes of play, Baiao's Eugênio Bueno made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilson Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Paulo Baiano came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Anelio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Baiano couldn't finish the play. When Ricardinho Velloso fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baiao's protests and gave Ricardinho Velloso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Ricardinho Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Baiao getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Valdo Arce hit a great ball. Baiao's Christian Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Vale in the 11th minute of play. Paulo Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Genílson Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Nilson Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Filipe Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Anelio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Silvinho Velloso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nilson Valle. That made the score 3-1 in the 32 minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Baiao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Velloso to maneuver through the defense. Christian Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Diniz in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Baiao's Silvinho Velloso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. If Eugênio Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christian Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Luz in the 46th minute of the match.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roberto Montenegro to make the kick off. Roberto Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Christian Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute Lucas Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Lucas Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anelio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Diniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Montenegro in the 62nd minute of the match. Genílson Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Nilson Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Paulo Baiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anelio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baiao the free kick. Eugênio Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Váldson Zonta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nilson Valle. Anelio's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Anelio getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Paulo Baiano hit a great ball. Baiao's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
