Valdemar Mesquita's late challenge caught a Contestado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdemar Mesquita helped the player get up and apologised. Valdemar Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 31stth minute of the game Matheus da Silveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muirapinima's Zé Pedro Lira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Muirapinima's Zé Pedro Lira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Muirapinima from getting a goal against them. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matheus da Silveira was the one to do the kick off. Amadeu Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Matheus da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adelino Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Pedro Lira having to interfere. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Amadeu Pinho. After a defensive mix-up in Muirapinima's zone, Adelino Albuquerque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Pedro Lira came out of the goal and Adelino Albuquerque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matheus da Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Muirapinima had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
