Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Corralinho SC's Rony Melo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Corralinho SC's Rony Melo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeu Pinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romário Cavalcante got free with Amadeu Pinho in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Corralinho SC's Edinho Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juarês da Silveira in the 19th minute of play. Edinho Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adelino Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Edinho Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adelino Albuquerque's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edinho Vides read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. If Rony Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinei Alagoano's late challenge caught a Corralinho SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinei Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. 45 minutes into the game, one of Contestado:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Amadeu Pinho, was totally fooled by Corralinho SC's Jacinto Neto, who 47 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matheus da Silveira made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romário Cavalcante in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeu Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adelino Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matheus da Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61 minutes, Ernani Peixoto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corralinho SC and the Contestado players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Matheus da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th match minute, Contestado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Moraes to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Romário Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corralinho SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romário Cavalcante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeu Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rony Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adelino Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Matheus da Silveira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
