Dagoberto Fernandes hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Sampaio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Muirapinima's Zé Pedro Lira. Zé Pedro Lira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandro Saldanha during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Real Alvinegro FC! In the 17th minute of the game, Muirapinima got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zézinho Simão got free with Reginaldo Amaral in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In a very dangerous position, a player in Real Alvinegro FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Reginaldo Amaral had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping Luís Luz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 34th minute, Flavinho Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reginaldo Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Zé Pedro Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murilo Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Sampaio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Pedro Lira having to make a save. Reynaldo Sampaio might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Pedro Lira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reynaldo Sampaio ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dagoberto Fernandes made a kick off. Reynaldo Sampaio scored 3-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Pedro Lira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reginaldo Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Muirapinima's Zé Pedro Lira got control of the ball when Armandinho Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zé Pedro Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Alagoano in the 83rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simão Domingues during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Real Alvinegro FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Simão Domingues hit a great ball. Vinícius Loyola hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Many of Real Alvinegro FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Real Alvinegro FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Muirapinima were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
