Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Dias started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Evandro Mesquita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silverio AD and the Carolinense FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Silverio AD got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Mesquita. If Oscar Tono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arlindo Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Eugênio Bastoss short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got 崔榕树 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gualter Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 崔榕树 having to interfere. The supporters of Silverio AD booed when Carolinense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edson Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Edmundo Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio AD's Evandro Mesquita got his second yellow card of the match in the 19th minute. The referee ordered Evandro Mesquita off the ground. After a rather tough play, Silverio AD's Evandro Mesquita got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Carolinense FC's Edmundo Dias in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Silverio AD's goalie prevented a goal. 22 minutes into the game, one of Silverio AD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Edmundo Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Quadros having to interfere. If Leopoldo Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arlindo Quadros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Dias's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Edmundo Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Quadros having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Edmundo Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carolinense FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When Edmundo Dias came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Carolinense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Dias couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Eugênio Bastos made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Silverio AD got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Viana. In the 52nd minute, Silverio AD's Pedro Paulo Paraibano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Pedro Paulo Paraibano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Silverio AD protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Pedro Paulo Paraibano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Silverio AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carolinense FC:s goal. Silverio AD:s Arlindo Quadros showed great skill when he stopped Afonsinho Cearense:s penalty. Edmundo Diass short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Arlindo Quadros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Edmundo Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Fernando Sampaio hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Silverio AD's zone, Oscar Tono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arlindo Quadros came out of the goal and Oscar Tono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 63rd play minutes Edmundo Dias shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Arlindo Quadros and just under the crossbar into goal. Oscar Tono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Quadros having to interfere. Edmundo Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Arlindo Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 74 in the game by Edmundo Dias from a close distance when the talented Arlindo Quadros managed to make a qualified save. Silverio AD's players were relieved. Edmundo Dias's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Arlindo Quadros skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edmundo Dias took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arlindo Quadros. Arlindo Quadros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. After having played for 81 minutes, Edmundo Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carolinense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Dias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edmundo Dias's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Arlindo Quadros skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 86 in the game by Edmundo Dias from a close distance when the talented Arlindo Quadros managed to make a qualified save. Silverio AD's players were relieved. When Edson Custódio fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carolinense FC's protests and gave Edson Custódio a yellow card for diving instead. Arlindo Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josué Dracena hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silverio AD's Arlindo Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Dias in the 96th minute of play. A hard shot 98 in the game by Edmundo Dias from a close distance when the talented Arlindo Quadros managed to make a qualified save. Silverio AD's players were relieved. The Silverio AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Carolinense FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
