Sydney Queiroz charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sydney Queiroz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gualter Viana to make the kick off. The referee gave Silverio AD a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fernandinho Abraão, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Principe's Paulo Nogueira. 2-1. Evaristo Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Quadros having to interfere. A collision led to Principe getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Luís Fábio Negri hit a great ball. Paulo Nogueira didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
