With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Cosme in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltazar Moura saved Restingua EC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Rebentao EC defense, Raphael Toscano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Umberto Senna. The Rebentao EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Umberto Senna should have stopped the shot. If João Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute.
