Eucum FC's Raimundo Hermes got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ademar Batista charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ademar Batista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Araquem getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ademar Batista hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Raimundo Hermes notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Araquem's Anísio Arósio. Anísio Arósio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15th minute Valdo Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anísio Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Araquem's goalkeeper Anísio Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Hermes. In the 19th minute, Diamantino Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivo Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deivid da Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Leonardo Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Deivid da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Araquem's Anísio Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo Arruda in the 39th minute of play. Leonardo Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid da Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Deivid da Mata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Chico Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Leonardo Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Deivid da Mata made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Vergílio. Eucum FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Chico Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Leonardo Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee gave Eucum FC a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edgar Goiano, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Araquem's Anísio Arósio. 2-1. Anísio Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Arruda in the 84th minute of the match. Anísio Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdo Arruda in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Eucum FC's zone, Deivid da Mata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Vergílio came out of the goal and Deivid da Mata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonardo Vergílio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. The Araquem players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Eucum FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
