Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fábio Tróia started the match with the kick off. Caetano Soeiro was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Elias Lucas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elias Lucas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With a little luck, Oticica EC's Caetano Soeiro got control of the ball when Elias Lucas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Oticica EC's goalkeeper Caetano Soeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Lucas. Elias Lucas took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caetano Soeiro. Caetano Soeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 19 played minutes Oticica EC got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Oliveira. Fábio Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio Zonta having to interfere. Cesinha Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Piraputanga's Válter Nóbrega nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caetano Soeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. With his leg Caetano Soeiro managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Piraputanga's Elias Lucas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Piraputanga getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Humberto Dionísio hit a great ball. Elias Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Soeiro having to interfere. If Válter Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Caetano Soeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Elias Lucas put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Caetano Soeiro. 59 minutes into the game, Piraputanga's Elias Lucas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caetano Soeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. If Elias Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 70 minutes on the clock, Agostinho Vieira commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 70th minute, one of Piraputanga:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Piraputanga. The referee gave Oticica EC a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by André Luís Valle, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Piraputanga's Luiz Fábio Zonta. 5-1. In the 77th minute Elias Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fábio Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Gláuber Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Cesinha Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oticica EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesinha Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fábio Zonta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The throw-in from Cesinha Nogueira in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Piraputanga's Duarte Leal. In the 93rd match minute, Oticica EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauro Furtado to maneuver through the defense.
