Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Otávio Campidelis started the match with the kick off. Víktor Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Montenegro having to interfere. When Víktor Cordeiro came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Botaboldo F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Víktor Cordeiro couldn't finish the play. Víktor Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Montenegro having to interfere. Elano Schmidt might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Alberto Montenegro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elano Schmidt ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otávio Campidelis in the 21st minute of play forced Botaboldo F.C's goalkeeper Diego Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Víktor Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Joel Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 minutes of play, Botaboldo F.C's Mateus Goiano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Alberto Montenegro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute, Francisco Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elano Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Carlos Alberto Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Elano Schmidt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Alberto Montenegro was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. 41 minutes into the match, Inhapim EC's goal looked a bit too open when Elano Schmidt came free, but Carlos Alberto Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elano Schmidt struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Carlos Alberto Montenegro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Botaboldo F.C. Carlos Eduardo Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Elano Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Carlos Alberto Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Víktor Cordeiro made the kick off in the second half. Inhapim EC's Raphael Corrêa got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elano Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Carlos Alberto Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Botaboldo F.C's Víktor Cordeiro in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Elano Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raphael Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inhapim EC's Carlos Alberto Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elano Schmidt in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Víktor Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elano Schmidt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute Víktor Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Alberto Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 92 minutes, Otávio Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inhapim EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otávio Campidelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateus Goiano during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Botaboldo F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
