Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Filipe Alves started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 played minutes Providencia FC got a freekick which was hit by Luizinho Almeida. After a defensive mix-up in Providencia FC's zone, Laércio Pontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Queirós came out of the goal and Laércio Pontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chicão de Souza in the 8th minute of play forced Providencia FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argenita FC's Hílton das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13thth minute of the game Chicão de Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Providencia FC's Cipriano Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. William Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Filipe Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Mattos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio Pontes in the 19th minute of play forced Providencia FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chicão de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Providencia FC's Doni Vides seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Doni Vides the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Providencia FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Doni Vides had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 22 minutes into the game, one of Providencia FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Argenita FC. Hílton das Neves stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cipriano Queirós. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chicão de Souza in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cipriano Queirós saved Providencia FC from getting behind. After 31 minutes, Chicão de Souza made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Providencia FC's Cipriano Queirós tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Clemente Baiano charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Baiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Providencia FC's Clemente Baiano got a free kick in the 37th minute. Cipriano Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chicão de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 minutes of play, Argenita FC's Chicão de Souza made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cipriano Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Argenita FC's Chicão de Souza in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Providencia FC's goalie prevented a goal. Cipriano Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laércio Pontes's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chicão de Souza to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Clóvis de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute, Providencia FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Walmir Oliveira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 56 minutes, Laércio Pontes made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Providencia FC's Cipriano Queirós tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Chicão de Souza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cipriano Queirós having to make a save. Cipriano Queirós came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Argenita FC's Laércio Pontes. But to his dismay, Laércio Pontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. When Vito Miranda fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Argenita FC's protests and gave Vito Miranda a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Argenita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Miranda to maneuver through the defense. José Augusto Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Chicão de Souza in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cipriano Queirós, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 86 minutes into the game, Filipe Alves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Providencia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Argenita FC the free kick. Filipe Alves hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Providencia FC's Cipriano Queirós got control of the ball when Chicão de Souza tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Tasso in the 89th minute of play forced Providencia FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, William Vianna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chicão de Souza succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. When the match was over Argenita FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Providencia FC throughout the match.
