The wind increased when Chicão de Souza made the kick off in the second half. Gamaleira were furious when Telmo Branco was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Chicão de Souza succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-10 in the 94th playminute. Argenita FC played a much better game than Gamaleira and deserved their victory. The Gamaleira players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
