Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luís Fabiano Dante kicked off to start the match. Cambuis SC were furious when Dinei Borges was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Iara AD booed when Cambuis SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinei Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basílio Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Iara AD's Tales Mendonça in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cambuis SC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Luís Fabiano Dante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredinho Martins was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Roger Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cambuis SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mazinho Vergílio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Basílio Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Mazinho Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredinho Martins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tales Mendonça in the 26th minute. When Luís Fabiano Dante came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Iara AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fabiano Dante couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Iara AD's zone, Roger Tróia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mazinho Vergílio came out of the goal and Roger Tróia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basílio Nogueira made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Luís Fabiano Dante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cambuis SC's zone, Luís Fabiano Dante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredinho Martins came out of the goal and Luís Fabiano Dante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredinho Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tales Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fabiano Dante in the 64th minute of play forced Cambuis SC's goalkeeper Alfredinho Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Cambuis SC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fabiano Dante came free, but Alfredinho Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredinho Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fabiano Dante in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredinho Martins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tales Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Alfredinho Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredinho Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales Mendonça in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Cambuis SC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fabiano Dante came free, but Alfredinho Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iara AD's Duda Maciel suffered a concussion after 75 minutes and had to leave the field. Marcus Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tales Mendonça blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredinho Martins having to make a save. When Roger Tróia came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Cambuis SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Tróia couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Roger Tróia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mazinho Vergílio. Iara AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roger Tróia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Luisão Arantes's late challenge caught a Cambuis SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luisão Arantes helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Iara AD got a freekick which was hit by Luisão Arantes. Basílio Nogueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Mazinho Vergílio made a huge save.
