An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio Bastos in the 4th minute of play forced Anjelina's goalkeeper Luís Fábio Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genílson Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Angelo Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th match minute, Notria F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Paulo Souto to maneuver through the defense. Luís Fábio Galvão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dráuzio Cardozo's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Felippe Monteiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Notria F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Dráuzio Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes Notria F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Paulo Souto. Marcel Paes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Angelo Bittencourt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 29 minutes into the game, Adilson Velasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Notria F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anjelina the free kick. In the 30th minute, Adilson Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Pedro Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcel Paes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Angelo Bittencourt made a huge save. The Notria F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Notria F.C.'s Dráuzio Cardozo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Anjelina players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Notria F.C. were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcel Paes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luís Fábio Galvão was a little too slow when Dráuzio Cardozo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dráuzio Cardozo in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fábio Galvão saved Anjelina from getting behind. Dráuzio Cardozo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Luís Fábio Galvão made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Dráuzio Cardozo took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Luís Fábio Galvão to make any attempt to save it. Dráuzio Cardozo in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luís Fábio Galvão, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Adilson Velasco was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. Luís Fábio Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acácio Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Luís Fábio Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio Bastos in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Anjelina's goalkeeper Luís Fábio Galvão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oswaldo Pereira. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Felippe Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Notria F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Felippe Monteiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fábio Galvão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Durvalino Barbosa charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Durvalino Barbosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th match minute, Notria F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durvalino Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Anjelina's Tostão Pimenta tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dráuzio Cardozo, 90 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felippe Monteiro got free with Luís Fábio Galvão in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Notria F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
