The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eliézer Breckenfeld stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Pedro Tepedino's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. If Marcel Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eurico Correia charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eurico Correia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Anjelina booed when Camacho SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eurico Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Paes in the 21st minute of play forced Camacho SC's goalkeeper Eliézer Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomé Arantes got free with Luís Fábio Galvão in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The penalty shot was made by Tostão Pimenta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Camacho SC's Eliézer Breckenfeld. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Paes in the 33rd minute of play forced Camacho SC's goalkeeper Eliézer Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederico Cearense helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, Camacho SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico Cearense to maneuver through the defense. João Pedro Tepedino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
