Mudanca AD's Róbson Saraiva shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 3rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Armandinho Maciel but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Guimarães in the 5th minute of play forced Mazela AD's goalkeeper Armandinho Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elói Velloso struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Benê Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mazela AD. After 13 played minutes Mudanca AD got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão da Mata. Mazela AD's Armandinho Maciel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Mazela AD from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Cristóvão Saraiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Cristóvão Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mazela AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Saraiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benê Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 26 minutes of play, Mazela AD's Cristóvão Saraiva made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benê Cabral was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 30 minutes, Robinho Novaes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mazela AD and the Mudanca AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Robinho Novaes hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Elói Velloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benê Cabral was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Elói Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benê Cabral having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Mudanca AD got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão da Mata. In the 40th minute, Elói Velloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristóvão da Mata's late challenge caught a Mazela AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristóvão da Mata helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, Mudanca AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão da Mata to maneuver through the defense. Mudanca AD's Benê Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Saraiva in the 42nd minute of play. Elói Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Benê Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 49th minute, Cristóvão Saraiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Germano Guimarães made a kick off. Glauco Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Benê Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Germano Guimarães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armandinho Maciel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Cristóvão Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Benê Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristóvão Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Elói Velloso could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Benê Cabral however easily saved by the left post. Elói Velloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mudanca AD's Benê Cabral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Mudanca AD from getting a goal against them. If Robinho Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armandinho Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The audience was convinced that Cristóvão Saraiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benê Cabral was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Ramiro Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute Cristóvão Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benê Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Germano Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mudanca AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Germano Guimarães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armandinho Maciel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mazela AD were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
