Fábio Baptista took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Josué Nóbrega. Baviera AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Baviera AD's Josué Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Paranaense in the 9th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enéas Moura in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josué Nóbrega saved Baviera AD from getting behind. Tangerina's Ezequiel Bezerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Tangerina from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Luiz Guilherme Leão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ezequiel Bezerra. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Paranaense in the 32nd minute of play forced Baviera AD's goalkeeper Josué Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Angelo Pernambucano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tangerina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. William Branco was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Tangerina's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Gabriel Madureira came free, but Ezequiel Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th match minute, Baviera AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Gabriel Madureira to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Vivaldo Gomes sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Josué Nóbrega threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Vivaldo Gomes this time. José Carlos Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Nóbrega having to interfere. Ezequiel Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. William Branco struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Ezequiel Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baviera AD. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
