During this time Barra Funda B's players had a chance to rest. 30 minutes into the match, Vito Valle notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Romelandia's Percy Vinhas. Percy Vinhas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Claudinei Camargo fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barra Funda B's protests and gave Claudinei Camargo a yellow card for diving instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oséas Luz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Barra Funda B's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vito Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88thth minute of the game Oséas Luz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barra Funda B's Jonathan Recife was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Recife made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséas Luz in the 92nd minute of play. Jonathan Recife showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benê da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute Oséas Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
