Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samuca Mineiro started the match with the kick off. Jano Guerra charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jano Guerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Catule getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jano Guerra hit a great ball. Dadá Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Vasconcelos in the 9th minute of the match. Alexsandro Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Catule's goal looked a bit too open when Alexsandro Prestes came free, but Dadá Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute João Augusto Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadá Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Dedê Mattos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catule's Dadá Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Juninho Vergílio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cauã Branco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Carlos Augusto Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dadá Tavares having to interfere. Dadá Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexsandro Prestes in the 34th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Catule's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Augusto Freire came free, but Dadá Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexsandro Prestes to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Alexsandro Prestes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catule's Dadá Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Augusto Freire during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Catule's Felipe Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74thth minute of the game Carlos Augusto Freire who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catule's Dadá Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antônio Carlos Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cauã Branco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Dadá Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexsandro Prestes in the 83rd minute of the match. Dedê Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chants of Catule echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Jofre had held the ball for most of the match.
