Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Percival Proença took the kick off in the first half of the match. Agnaldo Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The supporters of Aruaja SC booed when Leocadia AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrézinho da Silva, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Percival Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Ramos having to interfere. If Belmiro Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Ramos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Percival Proença went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 18 played minutes Aruaja SC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Silveira. If Carlos Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percival Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belmiro Zonta took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sílvio Ramos. Sílvio Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Antônio Carlos Peres took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for João Adolfo de Lara to make any attempt to save it. Romeu Palmeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Sílvio Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Leocadia AD fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Leocadia AD's Percival Proença looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percival Proença in the 42nd minute of play forced Aruaja SC's goalkeeper Sílvio Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Leocadia AD's Hílton Quintal got a free kick in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Aruaja SC's Andrézinho da Silva broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The Aruaja SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Leocadia AD were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Passos made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Agnaldo Zanette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Belmiro Zonta in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sílvio Ramos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. João Adolfo de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Passos in the 59th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Percival Proença's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sílvio Ramos was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Percival Proença in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sílvio Ramos saved Aruaja SC from getting behind. 66 minutes into the match, Antônio Carlos Peres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Adolfo de Lara. Leocadia AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antônio Carlos Peres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 69th minute, Antônio Carlos Peres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Adolfo de Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. João Adolfo de Lara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antônio Carlos Peres's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Hílton Quintal hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Aruaja SC's Sílvio Ramos got control of the ball when Belmiro Zonta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Belmiro Zonta's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sílvio Ramos firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antônio Carlos Peres in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Adolfo de Lara saved Leocadia AD from getting behind. Matías Travassos hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Sílvio Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Belmiro Zonta in the 92nd minute. Percival Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Percival Proença recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sílvio Ramos. Percival Proença showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. When the final whistle sounded Leocadia AD left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Aruaja SC.
