The Irapua FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelinho Martins should have stopped the shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernani Ribeiro was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernani Ribeiro in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelinho Martins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 54 minutes Irapua FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gerson de Brito who took care of the corner kick. Wilton Rosado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Marcelinho Martins made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Irapua FC's Dito Schmidt got a free kick in the 58th minute. Marcelinho Martins was a little too slow when Fernandinho Tróia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernandinho Tróia in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelinho Martins saved Irapua FC from getting behind. Manuel Goiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Marcelinho Martins made a huge save. Irapua FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fernandinho Tróia 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. With a little luck, Irapua FC's Marcelinho Martins got control of the ball when Manuel Goiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Ernani Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernani Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Golden Boys left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Irapua FC.
