Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Camutanga SS's Emerson Velasco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nestor Maia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Kiko Mumbach made a huge save. Naldo Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kiko Mumbach stood somewhat misplaced when Nestor Maia came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 16 minute. Emerson Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Damião having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafim Marques got free with Kiko Mumbach in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anselmo Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Valdir Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Favoretto in the 34th minute of play. Nestor Maia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Kiko Mumbach skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Velasco in the 38th minute of play forced Leão da Serra FC's goalkeeper Valdir Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emerson Velasco struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Valdir Damião didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Camutanga SS. Kiko Mumbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Maurinho Oliveira fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leão da Serra FC's protests and gave Maurinho Oliveira a yellow card for diving instead. Kiko Mumbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernani Rocha in the 57th minute of the match. Kiko Mumbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Lara in the 58th minute of play. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Naldo Trevisan sped through Camutanga SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kiko Mumbach. After a defensive mix-up in Camutanga SS's zone, Serafim Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kiko Mumbach came out of the goal and Serafim Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Camutanga SS defense, Serafim Marques kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kiko Mumbach. The Camutanga SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kiko Mumbach should have stopped the shot. Juninho Souto hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Camutanga SS's zone, Serafim Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kiko Mumbach came out of the goal and Serafim Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leão da Serra FC's Hernani Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camutanga SS's Kiko Mumbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Marques in the 82nd minute of play. Kiko Mumbach came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Leão da Serra FC's Hernani Rocha. But to his dismay, Hernani Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 89th minute of the match Silvinho Matorin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kiko Mumbach showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kiko Mumbach stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Maia's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute Naldo Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Mumbach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Leão da Serra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Velasco came free, but Valdir Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Maurinho Oliveira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. Leão da Serra FC's Valdir Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrício Branco in the 97th minute of play.
