Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Mirassol Esporte Clube's zone, Juninho Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Maciel came out of the goal and Juninho Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Juninho Santana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcel Maciel was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Juninho Santana was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 7th minute. Estulania AD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 17thth minute of the game Joel Velloso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estulania AD's Carlos Bertassi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute Nilmar Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Bertassi having to interfere. Reynaldo Ceresso hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When Basílio Pena fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estulania AD's protests and gave Basílio Pena a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mirassol Esporte Clube booed when Estulania AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mirassol Esporte Clube's Renatinho Sampaio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Estulania AD. Estulania AD's Carlos Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Velloso in the 29th minute of play. Dino Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kléber Leite charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kléber Leite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Kléber Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nilmar Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joel Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Estulania AD defense, Joel Velloso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Bertassi. The Estulania AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Bertassi should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juninho Santana to make the kick off. André Luís Nogueira charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Luís Nogueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th match minute, Estulania AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Bertassi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Renatinho Sampaio. In the 68th minute, Nilmar Couto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mirassol Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Kléber Leite got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Estulania AD getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Kléber Leite hit a great ball. Basílio Pena hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Mirassol Esporte Clube's Carlos Bertassi threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Velloso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Nilmar Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Mirassol Esporte Clube's Joel Velloso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Bertassi. Carlos Bertassi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Estulania AD's Carlos Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Velloso in the 91st minute of play. Zé Paulo Novaes's late challenge caught a Estulania AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Paulo Novaes helped the player get up and apologised. The Mirassol Esporte Clube players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
