Jeremias Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilmar Couto in the 15th minute. Jeremias Lara made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Nilmar Couto sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute Joel Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Velloso in the 22nd minute of play forced Aquidaban AD's goalkeeper Jeremias Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fabiano Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Aquidaban AD's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Velloso came free, but Jeremias Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Joel Velloso made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo Novaes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mirassol Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aquidaban AD the free kick. Zé Paulo Novaes hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Cauan Catarinense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Marcel Maciel made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilmar Couto in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeremias Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardinho da Mata struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Jeremias Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mirassol Esporte Clube. Nilmar Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Joel Velloso put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jeremias Lara. In the 66th minute, Nilmar Couto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremias Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. A collision led to Mirassol Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ricardinho da Mata hit a great ball. Aquidaban AD's Sílvio Luís Motta shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marcel Maciel but with some difficulty. When Nilmar Couto came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Mirassol Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nilmar Couto couldn't finish the play. Aquidaban AD's Romário Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nilmar Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Lara having to interfere. In the 92ndth minute of the game Nilmar Couto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aquidaban AD's Jeremias Lara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romário Matos hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilmar Couto in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mirassol Esporte Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Renatinho Sampaio in the 98th minute. The corner ended in Renatinho Sampaio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Aquidaban AD's Jeremias Lara did a great save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mirassol Esporte Clube had played much better football throughout.
