Chicão Freitas hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Manuel Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Aldeiamento SC's Paulo da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Velloso in the 58th minute of play. Mirassol Esporte Clube's Marcel Maciel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Mirassol Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. When Zé Paulo Novaes fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mirassol Esporte Clube's protests and gave Zé Paulo Novaes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Aldeiamento SC booed when Mirassol Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Couto in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Aldeiamento SC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Miguel Velloso hit a great ball. Mirassol Esporte Clube were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Aldeiamento SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Renatinho Sampaio took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Renatinho Sampaio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paulo da Fonseca quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Joel Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Paulo da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mirassol Esporte Clube had played much better football throughout.
