Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Fernando de Castro came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Valle Vista AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando de Castro couldn't finish the play. Gilvan Brasil's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Gilvan Teixeira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 11th minute, Evandro Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodriguinho Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Schmidt in the 14th minute of play. Manoel Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Amorim having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Inácio Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Funil's supporters rose to their feet, but Inácio Schmidt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodriguinho Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th match minute, Funil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reginaldo Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. After 31 minutes, Valdo Paranaense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valle Vista AFC and the Funil players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Manoel Furtado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodriguinho Amorim was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando de Castro in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilvan Teixeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, Funil's goalkeeper Gilvan Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilvan Brasil. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando de Castro in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilvan Teixeira saved Funil from getting behind. During the 48th minute of the match Valdo Paranaense completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Valdo Paranaense a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Valdo Paranaense hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilvan Brasil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Fernando de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilvan Brasil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manoel Furtado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Rodriguinho Amorim made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilvan Brasil in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilvan Teixeira saved Funil from getting behind. Manoel Furtado hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Celsinho Cosme's late challenge caught a Funil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celsinho Cosme helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Valle Vista AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Celsinho Cosme hit a great ball. Inácio Schmidt might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodriguinho Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inácio Schmidt ran back to his position shaking his head. Valle Vista AFC's Rodriguinho Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Valle Vista AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute of the match Délio Sena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilvan Teixeira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Reginaldo Ferraz fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Funil's protests and gave Reginaldo Ferraz a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Funil got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo Ferraz. In the 81st minute, Gilvan Brasil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evandro Barros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilvan Teixeira having to make a save. Rodriguinho Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manoel Furtado in the 84th minute. Gilvan Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilvan Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Valle Vista AFC's Gilvan Brasil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilvan Teixeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After having played for 91 minutes, Gilvan Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valle Vista AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilvan Brasil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilvan Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Valle Vista AFC were the better team. Valle Vista AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
