Fausto Netto's late challenge caught a Valle Vista AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Netto helped the player get up and apologised. Dida Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Noel Favoretto was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Fernando de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Travassos having to interfere. In the 19th minute Fernando de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernando Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Amorim having to interfere. If Rodrigo Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celsinho Cosme hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When Fernando de Castro came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Valle Vista AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando de Castro couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Fernando de Castro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gernando Travassos, 1-0. Bacurau's Gernando Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando de Castro in the 49th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 55 minutes, Fernando de Castro made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bacurau's Gernando Travassos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Haroldo Dante hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match Noel Favoretto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gernando Travassos skillfully saved the ball. Fernando de Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gernando Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafim Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Valle Vista AFC were the better team. Valle Vista AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
