Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Claudinho Donato made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Jangada's Válbson Dracena got a free kick in the 5th minute. Emílio Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 17 minutes, Emílio Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Criciuma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emílio Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Criciuma booed when Jangada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquinhos Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Donato in the 23rd minute of play forced Criciuma's goalkeeper Ismael Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinho Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Criciuma's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Claudinho Donato scored to the left of an out of position Ismael Catarinense, making the score, 1-0. Jangada's Ernani Meirelles shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ismael Catarinense but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Criciuma's zone, Claudinho Donato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Catarinense came out of the goal and Claudinho Donato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Almeida in the 37th minute of play forced Jangada's goalkeeper Geovanni Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Jangada's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Borges came free, but Geovanni Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Criciuma booed when Jangada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Emílio Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emílio Almeida to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Criciuma's Diogo Borges made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovanni Leão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mateus Prestes hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Marquinhos Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jangada fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! Geovanni Leão made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Diogo Borges sent off a good shot on target. Válbson Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. With a little luck, Jangada's Geovanni Leão got control of the ball when Diogo Borges tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85 minutes of play Jangada's Válbson Dracena was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Jangada's Válbson Dracena got a free kick in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Almeida in the 86th minute of play forced Jangada's goalkeeper Geovanni Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geovanni Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Criciuma's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
