Pinheiros SS's Tomé Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Pinheiros SS getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Luís Guilherme Carvalho hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Osvaldinho Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moroco's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldinho Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fred de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deivid Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred de Azevedo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pinheiros SS's zone, Luís Guilherme Quirino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred de Azevedo came out of the goal and Luís Guilherme Quirino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Pinheiros SS's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid Luz came free, but Fred de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Moroco booed when Pinheiros SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Hames didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emerson Hames charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emerson Hames the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pinheiros SS's Emerson Hames got a free kick in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Pinheiros SS's goal looked a bit too open when Silvério Gaúcho came free, but Fred de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pinheiros SS booed when Moroco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th match minute, Moroco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. In the 49th minute Pinheiros SS were awarded a corner. Emerson Hames went to the cornerflag to take it. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 56th match minute, Pinheiros SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Simão to maneuver through the defense. Matías Alvarenga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matías Alvarenga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgar dos Santos having to make a save. Washington Mangueira struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Edgar dos Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinheiros SS. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Alvarenga in the 77th minute of play forced Moroco's goalkeeper Edgar dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Pinheiros SS getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Emerson Hames hit a great ball. Narciso de Barros was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 88th minute, Luiz Gustavo Brodel made a precise shot to the right of Edgar dos Santos. Moroco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 92nd minute of the match, Deivid Luz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fred de Azevedo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinheiros SS's goalkeeper Fred de Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomé Zanette's late challenge caught a Moroco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomé Zanette helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Pinheiros SS got a freekick which was hit by Tomé Zanette. Thanks to some nice moves Osvaldinho Barbosa could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Fred de Azevedo however easily saved by the left post. In the 96th match minute, Pinheiros SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Zanette to maneuver through the defense. Deivid Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pinheiros SS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Moroco for a fine match.
