Iacanga SC's Sandrinho Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Ribeiro in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Ribeiro in the 31st minute of play forced Iacanga SC's goalkeeper Sandrinho Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Hélder Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iacanga SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hélder Cosme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Paes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sandrinho Negri didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Morotim SS's Gabriel Ribeiro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Ribeiro made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Ribeiro in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandrinho Negri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Márcio Mandrak struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Sandrinho Negri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morotim SS. Sandrinho Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 89th minute, Gabriel Ribeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morotim SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 93 played minutes, Iacanga SC's Gildo Duarte shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ramiro Paes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Iacanga SC reached it. The Morotim SS players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
