Ramiro Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José do Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Ramiro Paes made a huge save. In the 10thth minute of the game Márcio Mandrak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rocadinho FC's Agenor Cerezo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Agenor Cerezo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Agenor Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Mandrak in the 13th minute of play. Morotim SS's Fausto Guimarães suffered a concussion after 14 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armindo Oliveira during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Rocadinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armindo Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. If Márcio Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Paes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaká Passos's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Agenor Cerezo came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Morotim SS's Márcio Mandrak. But to his dismay, Márcio Mandrak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, Morotim SS's Ramiro Paes got control of the ball when José do Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 29 minutes, Gabriel Ribeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morotim SS and the Rocadinho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gabriel Ribeiro hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. José do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ramiro Paes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Valadares hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Ramiro Paes made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when José do Vale sent off a good shot on target. Morotim SS's Ramiro Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Passos in the 35th minute of play. José do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Morotim SS booed when Rocadinho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Márcio Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Agenor Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Luiz Guilherme Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morotim SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rocadinho FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Morotim SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Morotim SS:s Ramiro Paes showed great skill when he stopped Fernandinho Moreno:s penalty. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Márcio Mandrak got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rocadinho FC's Agenor Cerezo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Rocadinho FC from getting a goal against them. Rocadinho FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
