Kaká Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Breckenfeld in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agenor Cerezo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the match, José do Vale notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Iacanga SC's Sandrinho Negri. Sandrinho Negri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hélder Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agenor Cerezo having to interfere. Rocadinho FC's Agenor Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Breckenfeld in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rocadinho FC's Armindo Oliveira got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Hélder Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Célio Mendonça charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Célio Mendonça the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rocadinho FC's Célio Mendonça got a free kick in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Rocadinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Cosme came free, but Agenor Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Rocadinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiaguinho Paulista to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaká Passos in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandrinho Negri saved Iacanga SC from getting behind. The supporters of Rocadinho FC booed when Iacanga SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Ferraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iacanga SC's Sandrinho Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Passos in the 40th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Breckenfeld was the one to do the kick off. Rafael Breckenfeld in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Agenor Cerezo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Armindo Oliveira fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rocadinho FC's protests and gave Armindo Oliveira a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Rocadinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Armindo Oliveira. In the 57th minute, Kaká Passos made a precise shot to the right of Sandrinho Negri. Iacanga SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. With an all-out effort, Iacanga SC's Agenor Cerezo threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rafael Breckenfeld, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 63 played minutes Iacanga SC got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos de Castro. José do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Iacanga SC's José Carlos de Castro got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, José do Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kaká Passos took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandrinho Negri. Sandrinho Negri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Hélder Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Agenor Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandrinho Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José do Vale in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Passos in the 82nd minute of play forced Iacanga SC's goalkeeper Sandrinho Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Iacanga SC's goal looked a bit too open when José do Vale came free, but Sandrinho Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ademar do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agenor Cerezo having to interfere. Iacanga SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
