Rodrigo Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Sampaio in the 12th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Alessandro Breckenfeld's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Soeiro was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Hermínio dos Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alessandro Breckenfeld stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dé Galvão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rony Félix went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. André Luís Pernambucano's late challenge caught a Breozinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Luís Pernambucano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Breozinho booed when Jari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position.
