The supporters of Pasmado booed when Haas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kléberson de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Baltazar Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Haas got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Capixaba. João Pedro Esteves was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lúcio Sena was the one to do the kick off. Serafim de Carvalho hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Baltazar Dantas made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Sílvio Luiz de Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. If Sílvio Luiz de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pasmado's goalkeeper Baltazar Dantas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baltazar Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléberson de Toledo in the 65th minute of the match. Sílvio Luiz de Alcântara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Baltazar Dantas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dedé Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Kléberson de Toledo didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 74th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Kléberson de Toledo ran dejectedly back to his position. 77 minutes into the match, Pasmado's goalkeeper Baltazar Dantas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sílvio Luiz de Alcântara. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cícero da Costa during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Pasmado's zone, Sílvio Luiz de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltazar Dantas came out of the goal and Sílvio Luiz de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pasmado's Baltazar Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz de Alcântara in the 95th minute of play. Baltazar Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléberson de Toledo in the 98th minute of the match. Haas's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Pasmado had won, even though Haas had held more of the ball.
