Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Juninho Donato got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th match minute, Itapirarema was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Gustavo Veloso to maneuver through the defense. Adhemar Luz's late challenge caught a Itapirarema's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adhemar Luz helped the player get up and apologised. Adhemar Luz hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Bruninho Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Guedes having to interfere. In the 11th minute Jaime Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Túlio Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Matos in the 14th minute of play. Bruninho Matos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Túlio Guedes having to make a save. Mazinho Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Bruninho Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Guedes having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Itapirarema's Bruninho Matos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Túlio Guedes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bruninho Matos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Túlio Guedes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Macuripary's Erik da Fonseca got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute of the match Pedro Luiz Quadros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Túlio Guedes skillfully saved the ball. After 40 played minutes Itapirarema got a freekick which was hit by Sidnei de Almeida. Adhemar Luz was shown his second yellow card after 43 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 44th minute, Adhemar Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Juninho Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruninho Matos made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Macuripary's goal looked a bit too open when Bruninho Matos came free, but Túlio Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Jaime Gonçalves's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Túlio Guedes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jaime Gonçalves was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, Macuripary's Túlio Guedes got control of the ball when Jaime Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Itapirarema booed when Macuripary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik da Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvinho Peres during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Juninho Donato came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Macuripary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juninho Donato couldn't finish the play. Túlio Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Matos in the 88th minute of play. If Jaime Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Erik da Fonseca was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Macuripary's Erik da Fonseca got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute Itapirarema were awarded a corner. Pedro Luiz Quadros went to the cornerflag to take it. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
