An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Netto in the 11th minute of play forced Macuripary's goalkeeper Túlio Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 16 in the game by Nuno Custódio from a close distance when the talented Túlio Guedes managed to make a qualified save. Macuripary's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Netto in the 20th minute of play forced Macuripary's goalkeeper Túlio Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik da Fonseca hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When Nuno Custódio came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the PALHAÇADA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Custódio couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute Juninho Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nuno Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mazinho Urbano fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Macuripary's protests and gave Mazinho Urbano a yellow card for diving instead. Mazinho Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, PALHAÇADA FC's Cristóvão Marquez tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Adhemar Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes in the game, Sandrinho Netto fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Túlio Guedes having to interfere. Túlio Guedes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandrinho Netto's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Juninho Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sandrinho Netto was the one to do the kick off. Túlio Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandrinho Netto in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Custódio in the 54th minute of play forced Macuripary's goalkeeper Túlio Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nuno Custódio came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the PALHAÇADA FC fans jumped to their feet. Macuripary's Juninho Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, one of PALHAÇADA FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PALHAÇADA FC. When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, Macuripary's Kauan Pires got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Guto Brito. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Juninho Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macuripary's supporters rose to their feet, but Juninho Donato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guto Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Macuripary's goalkeeper Túlio Guedes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Túlio Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandrinho Netto in the 84th minute of the match. Macuripary's Mazinho Urbano got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Mazinho Urbano off the ground. In the 87th match minute, Macuripary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazinho Urbano to maneuver through the defense. Macuripary's Juninho Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guto Brito made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Adhemar Luz sent off a good shot on target.
