Bruninho Matos spun around in front of the goal 6 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of PALHAÇADA FC's goal. After 9 played minutes Itapirarema got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Gustavo Veloso. Nuno Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandrinho Netto in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Garcia saved Itapirarema from getting behind. If Jaime Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Garcia stood somewhat misplaced when Sandrinho Netto came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 44 minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruninho Matos to make the kick off. Guto Brito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Gonçalves went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Sandrinho Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Garcia having to interfere. Nuno Custódio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sandrinho Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the game, Fabrício Munhoz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PALHAÇADA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itapirarema the free kick. Fabrício Munhoz hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Netto in the 76th minute of play forced Itapirarema's goalkeeper Lucas Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th match minute, Itapirarema was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Gustavo Veloso to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute of the match Cristóvão Marquez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas Garcia skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Itapirarema's Luiz Gustavo Veloso got a free kick in the 81st minute. PALHAÇADA FC's Guto Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruninho Matos in the 90th minute of play. After 91 minutes of play PALHAÇADA FC's Fabrício Munhoz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 91 played minutes PALHAÇADA FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Munhoz. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
