Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eugênio Massa started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Evaristo Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júnior Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Felicidade's César Paes got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 9th minute, Mazinho Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute of the match Tião Gonçalves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Júnior Paiva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The long shot by Mazinho Corrêa in the 13th minute really tested Aílton Freitas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mazinho Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Felicidade's goalkeeper Júnior Paiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Germano Dias during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Germano Dias hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the game, Luisinho Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Felicidade's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cantagallo SS the free kick. After 27 played minutes Felicidade got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Vidal. After 30 minutes of play, Cantagallo SS's Germano Dias made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júnior Paiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugênio Massa in the 35th minute of play forced Cantagallo SS's goalkeeper Aílton Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Luís Paulo Cosme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Júnior Paiva was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Júnior Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Felicidade:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cantagallo SS:s goal. Felicidade:s Júnior Paiva showed great skill when he stopped Tião Gonçalves:s penalty. In a very dangerous position, a player in Felicidade fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Germano Dias was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Dias in the 56th minute of play forced Felicidade's goalkeeper Júnior Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Evaristo Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugênio Massa struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Aílton Freitas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Felicidade. Aílton Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Paes in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Luís Paulo Cosme notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Felicidade's Júnior Paiva. Júnior Paiva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 82 minutes into the game, Remo Baiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Felicidade's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cantagallo SS the free kick. If Germano Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Felicidade! The referee gave Cantagallo SS a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tião Gonçalves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Felicidade's Júnior Paiva. 0-5. Júnior Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cantagallo SS booed when Felicidade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 100 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball.
