Allan Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naldo Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nildo Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Nildo Terra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Allan Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Renato Vale in the 27th minute. Allan Fonseca was a little too slow when Naldo Tinoco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-0. Abelardo Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Zonta having to interfere. Anhemby AD's Nildo Terra got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronaldo de Medeiros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Sandro Zonta made a huge save. When Leandro Machado fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Araiporanga FC's protests and gave Leandro Machado a yellow card for diving instead.
