The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. João Augusto Romero took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Berger. Paulo Berger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Dino da Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Cabrestos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino da Cunha couldn't finish the play. When Tarcisio Trancoso fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WinchesterBr's protests and gave Tarcisio Trancoso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, WinchesterBr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Dino da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabrestos's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino da Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Francisco Travassos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Dino da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauan Mendonça blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Berger having to make a save. In the 25th minute, Kauan Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Luiz Furtado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabrestos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave WinchesterBr the free kick. After 26 played minutes Cabrestos got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Furtado. João Augusto Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute João Augusto Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, WinchesterBr's goalkeeper João Francisco Travassos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Marquez. Fabiano Perez struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. João Francisco Travassos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabrestos. João Francisco Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Perez in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Mendonça in the 42nd minute of play forced Cabrestos's goalkeeper Paulo Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauan Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kauan Mendonça was the one to do the kick off. João Augusto Romero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Paulo Berger when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Cabrestos booed when WinchesterBr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elano Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Kauan Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. WinchesterBr's supporters rose to their feet, but Kauan Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Berger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elano Mattos charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elano Mattos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Elano Mattos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kauan Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Paulo Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Augusto Romero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Paulo Berger made a huge save. A collision led to Cabrestos getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Lucas Marquez hit a great ball. João Augusto Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Berger having to interfere. Paulo Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauan Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 82 minutes, Fabiano Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabrestos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiano Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dino da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. João Francisco Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kauan Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Berger made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when João Augusto Romero sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd minute, WinchesterBr's João Augusto Romero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The supporters of Cabrestos booed when WinchesterBr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naldo Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The WinchesterBr players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
