Davi dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Fernandinho França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márcio Leite in the 13th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Márcio Leite in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernandinho França prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute, Andrézinho Cavalcante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Caroara getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Frédson Cerezo hit a great ball. When Márcio Leite came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the 17 de Novembro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Márcio Leite couldn't finish the play. Andrézinho Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrézinho Cavalcante got free with Fernandinho França in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Márcio Leite blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernandinho França having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Vágner Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caroara's supporters rose to their feet, but Vágner Albuquerque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aírton Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 58 played minutes Caroara got a freekick which was hit by Frédson Cerezo. 17 de Novembro's Gildo de Toledo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gerson Nunes, made in the 62nd minute of the game. A collision led to Caroara getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Luís Fernando da Costa hit a great ball. Fernandinho França stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Márcio Leite's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Caroara's Vágner Albuquerque got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Frédson Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Márcio Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernandinho França showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Andrézinho Cavalcante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. There was no doubt that 17 de Novembro were the better team. 17 de Novembro's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
