Jatina's Gilson das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Jatina getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Patrício Brodel hit a great ball. The supporters of Jatina booed when Fazenda Rio Grande FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivid Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jatina's Décio Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri Antunes in the 16th minute of play. Iuri Antunes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Décio Coelho having to make a save. In the 20th minute, Jatina's Chiquinho Figueiredo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Patrício Brodel hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A collision led to Fazenda Rio Grande FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Frank Lucas hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jatina's Gilson das Neves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José Eger. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. Frank Lucas struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Décio Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fazenda Rio Grande FC. Germano Amorim hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilson das Neves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Jatina getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Patrício Brodel hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Jatina's Patrício Brodel got a free kick in the 58th minute. Wiliam Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio Coelho having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, Fazenda Rio Grande FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iuri Antunes to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Fazenda Rio Grande FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilson das Neves came free, but José Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo da Mata in the 65th minute of the match. If Frank Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Chiquinho Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 played minutes Jatina got a freekick which was hit by Chiquinho Figueiredo. Patrício Brodel hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Jatina's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Lucas came free, but Décio Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute of the match Patrício Brodel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Eger skillfully saved the ball. Germano Amorim hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match.
