Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hamílton Saldanha kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, Piavore FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. In the 3rd minute of the match Cássio Penha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osmar de Senna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Christiano Sergipano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Duarte Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Alan Mandrak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Romário Fernandes. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 14th minute Cláudio Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Breno Leal hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Christiano Sergipano charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Romário Fernandes came out and tried to block the shot, but Hamílton Saldanha slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 28th minute. Alan Mandrak succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. 41 minutes into the game, Piavore FC's Hamílton Saldanha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romário Fernandes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 44 minutes, Nestor Pinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piavore FC and the Matumse EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Piavore FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Pinho to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Matumse EC's goalkeeper Romário Fernandes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cláudio Sabóia was the one to do the kick off. Piavore FC's Christiano Sergipano got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Duarte Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Lira in the 57th minute of play forced Matumse EC's goalkeeper Romário Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romário Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Duarte Lira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romário Fernandes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. When Christiano Sergipano was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. After 66 played minutes Piavore FC got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Sergipano. After some careless play in the Piavore FC defense, Valdemar Saldanha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osmar de Senna. The Piavore FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osmar de Senna should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute, Matumse EC's Denílson Cordeiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. In the 74th minute Alan Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romário Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alan Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Romário Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Pinho scored 5-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romário Fernandes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Duarte Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Romário Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamílton Saldanha in the 84th minute of play forced Matumse EC's goalkeeper Romário Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matumse EC's Romário Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Pinho in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Hamílton Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piavore FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamílton Saldanha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Mandrak in the 89th minute of play forced Matumse EC's goalkeeper Romário Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Piavore FC's Hamílton Saldanha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
