The supporters of Crimeia booed when Matumse EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulysses Guedes in the 32nd minute of play forced Matumse EC's goalkeeper Romário Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes, Ronaldinho Breckenfeld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matumse EC and the Crimeia players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Valdemar Saldanha sped through Crimeia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raúl Macedo. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cláudio Sabóia made a kick off. After having played for 63 minutes, Ulysses Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crimeia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulysses Guedes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ulysses Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot.
