João Magalhães started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Leandro Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veadeiros EC's Tomé do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Décio Jacinto in the 4th minute of play. When Pedrinho Romero came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Beleza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrinho Romero couldn't finish the play. Décio Jacinto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomé do Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Betinho França hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Tomé do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedrinho Romero in the 14th minute. Décio Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé do Vale having to interfere. Tomé do Vale came out of the goal and Pedrinho Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Décio Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beleza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Décio Jacinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Gonçalo Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beleza's Váldson Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Magalhães in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 played minutes Veadeiros EC got a freekick which was hit by João Magalhães. A collision led to Beleza getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Leandro Seco hit a great ball.

After 52 played minutes Veadeiros EC got a freekick which was hit by Betinho França. Thiago Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Décio Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Beleza's Váldson Barreto got control of the ball when Gonçalo Freire tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 70 minutes of play Veadeiros EC's Régis Meirelles was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Veadeiros EC's Daniel Machado shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 74th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Váldson Barreto but with some difficulty. Tomé do Vale came out of the goal and Décio Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Décio Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tomé do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Beleza's Váldson Barreto got control of the ball when Gonçalo Freire tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Veadeiros EC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Romero came free, but Tomé do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonçalo Freire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Váldson Barreto made a huge save. Décio Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
