Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pedro Luiz de Medeiros got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes, Kiko Bertassi made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Abade's Ernesto Teixeira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Airao SC booed when Abade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovani Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beto Berger, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pedro Luiz de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Teixeira having to interfere. Ernesto Teixeira made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Kiko Bertassi sent off a good shot on target. When Pedro Luiz de Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Airao SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luiz de Medeiros couldn't finish the play. If Zé Pedro Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Luiz de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ernesto Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Airao SC booed when Abade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armindo Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Luiz de Medeiros's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. The supporters of Airao SC booed when Abade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wellington Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Ernesto Teixeira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Wellington Recife charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wellington Recife the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A long shot from Beto Berger in the 35th minute of play was well struck, but Ernesto Teixeira made a really good save at the right post. If Kiko Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Luiz de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Teixeira having to interfere. A collision led to Abade getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Célio Maranhense hit a great ball. After 47 minutes of play, Airao SC's Kiko Bertassi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there!

In the 57th minute, Zé Pedro Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Airao SC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Secco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raúl Mendonça. Abade's Célio Maranhense couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 60th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Airao SC. After having played for 65 minutes, Pedro Luiz de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Airao SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Luiz de Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Célio Maranhense fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abade's protests and gave Célio Maranhense a yellow card for diving instead. 69 minutes into the game, one of Abade:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 78 minutes into the match, Airao SC's Pedro Luiz de Medeiros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernesto Teixeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 85 minutes into the game, Airao SC's Kiko Bertassi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Teixeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kiko Bertassi in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Teixeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th minute Pedro Luiz de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Kiko Bertassi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Thanks to some nice moves Wellington Recife could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Reynaldo Secco however easily saved by the left post. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Airao SC had played much better football throughout.
