Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gilson Saraiva started the match with the kick off. Osvaldinho Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Nilton Faustino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durvalino Vergílio in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilton Faustino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dagoberto Breckenfeld took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateus Leal. Mateus Leal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Aloísio Leite charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aloísio Leite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Abbadia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Leite to maneuver through the defense. Mateus Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilson Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Durvalino Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton Faustino having to interfere. Osvaldinho Vianna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Durvalino Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Nilton Faustino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nilton Faustino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldinho Vianna in the 23rd minute of play. Nilton Faustino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldinho Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilson Saraiva in the 27th minute of play forced Abbadia's goalkeeper Mateus Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Abbadia's zone, Dagoberto Breckenfeld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateus Leal came out of the goal and Dagoberto Breckenfeld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilson Saraiva in the 30th minute of play forced Abbadia's goalkeeper Mateus Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldinho Vianna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton Faustino having to interfere. Mateus Leal came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Pedregulho's Dagoberto Breckenfeld. But to his dismay, Dagoberto Breckenfeld quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Abbadia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pedregulho were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvaldinho Vianna to make the kick off. Nilton Faustino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durvalino Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Durvalino Vergílio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateus Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Sidney Duarte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pedregulho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abbadia the free kick. Sidney Duarte got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Benedito Madureira's late challenge caught a Pedregulho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benedito Madureira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Benedito Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateus Leal made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Dagoberto Breckenfeld sent off a good shot on target. Durvalino Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abbadia's Osvaldinho Vianna got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 81 minutes of play, Abbadia's Durvalino Vergílio made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilton Faustino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Otávio Fontes hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abbadia's goalkeeper Mateus Leal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Dagoberto Breckenfeld came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Pedregulho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dagoberto Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manolo Freitas during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Manolo Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The Pedregulho supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pedregulho would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
